Arrest Inquiry... something is odd

I was reading the local news and decided to look up the characters in the article. I found it surprising that the county arrest inquiry site now requires gender and race to be specified. I decided to play around with it.

My glasses are old, but I don't think my vision is that bad. His shirt is white alright, but the rest does not quite match my idea of someone who looks "white".

Nothing odd about that.
Just because they (The Police) are tasked with enforcing the law, has no bearing on how they deal with real, observable facts.
