Arowana!

i have 3 arowana fish.
i bought them this week. 1 baby and 2 larger ones.
as any fish lovers know arowanas can be viscious....
anyways they got along great for 4 days...
but i see major aggression from 1 of the arowanas ,
he is biting the other larger arowana ever minute or so...
so i made a tank divider for the baby arowana...he would get gobbled quick if they wanted him...but they never touched him for some reason...
but now i have to separate the others 🙁
i just set up a 10 gallon tank{kinda smaller than wut i wanted}
is my fishies gunna make it a week for the other tanks water to clear up and chemicals to kick in? i sure hope.

anyways i know not many people here are fish lovers but i was just hoping someone here may have an idea?

How big is the original tank? These fish grow qute large 2.5-3 ft. I would say that a minimum of100 gallon 6 ft tank is in order.

Also for the 10 gallon holding tank why don't you take water from the original tank and put it in the 10 gallon so you don't have to wait transfer the fish to it.

i have a 145 gallon tank at my moms{left it there years ago....like 6 years...lol}
gunna have that 145 at my house in a few months when she moves.
right now i am using a 75 gallon tank......
i am considering taking water from my other tank ..... i might try that....
the baby arowana is safe{fingers crossed}
but the 2 adults keep fighting 🙁 one of em is gunna be in a 10 gallon tank for a while
unless i set up my 39 gallon tank

Arowanas are sick as hell. Got any pics? We had a huge one that was a mean looking SOB, not sure exactly how it died as I was rather young.

Well......... why don't you put the baby in the 10 gallon and deevide the 75 gallon in half for the big one?

Cheers,

this does sound like the way to go....
me and wife were discussing it...the 75 gallon tank should be easy to divide. but it is a corner tank triangular shape so i feel bad they arent gunna have much room to swim anymore
"why cant they all just get along?" 😀

thanx for the advice guyz....
btw i will try to get some pics but my digi cam sucks royaly.
