Built my friend's new rig today, but I received a pretty disappointing surprise: his 2100+ was an AROIA core. That means it's a Palomino, not a T-Bred, correct? We were hoping to make use of the multiplier unlock trick, which supposedly only work's on the Thoroughbred core.

I had to leave before the thing was finished, but if it's a Palomino then there's no hope of auto-unlocking, correct?

Besides what was already stated, 2100 T-Bred's are either extremely rare or nonexistant. There are 1800's and 2200's commonly available, but not 2100's.

Darn. I was under the impression that AMD already converted the whole line to T-Bred A and we were just waiting on T-Bred B.

I guess it's no big deal as 2100+ is pretty fast anyway.
