yea i watched this program about his life and i must say i was very impressed with where he started and now, where he's ended up. truly a great success story.

Well arnold is very well liked. A celeb like clooney, whom many mock frequently for his silly political statements, would have a tougher time. Plus I think being an immigrant is the reason some people back arnold because people like to see the US as "the land of the free", and come and find your dreams, etc. blah

If you think his success is based on luck, you know next to nothing about him. His only luck is having a body that could be built with perfect symmetry. The rest was very hard work and determination. He has also proven himself to be a very shrewd businessman and investor.
