does anyone know from exerience or hearsay what kind of training the U.S. Army or Army Reserve does in Panama?

thx - chipy

thx BoomerD. i would like to take this one step further. do all Army soldiers go through this or is it held for certain occupations? in other words, which soldiers would need this kind of training? those who were going into combat?

if it's outside the country, it's usually more intense since the U.S. does not specialize in wasting money on training that takes place outside it's own typical borders.

whatever you do man, drink as much fvcken water as you can. believe me, you will need it as much as desert training.

Jungle, and survival training camps for the Green Berets, and Special Forces, used to be there, at least it was for me in '70.
Ever eat an igauna raw?

Jungle Warfare Training School has been closed for many years and I do not believe there are any Active Army military bases there either. Check out the USASO site for information on what goes on in USArmy SOuth AOR.

Another question about the military in general. I knew people while I was in the Air Force that had contracted the herp and were allowed to stay in, but I have a neighbor that wants to sign up and I found out that she may or may not have the herp. Would that prevent her from enlisting?
