a lot of people complain about recruiters never stop talking to you on the phone and are real pushy. ive just seen a lot of threads where people get sucked into having meetings and such and it seems like a lot of people have problems with the recruiters. i just got home and as soon as i walked in i got a call from my local recruiter. we talked about track and running for a couple minutes, after that i told him i wasnt interested, but if the time comes where America needs soldiers that i would join. he said that was cool, and wished me luck.

Some people buy things from telemarketers. I had one call a few days ago. I said I wasn't interested. He said cool. I am smooth.

Maybe that means that you're secretly intrested? If you can't say no. I know that I don't want to be a soldier. Neither a general. And I can shout it out loud antwhere if I need to.

That's about the worst thing you can do, because you'll get a call back either later that day or the next.

this asshat from MCI keeps calling me at home trying to sign me up for their neighborhood plan or some crap thats ~$50/month
I told him the only reason I have a phone line is for my DSL and don't need any features. To which he replied with blah blah you need this you need that how much are you paying now. Told him if he can match $15.00/month then I'll consider switching. To make a long story short, I told the guy that I will not change and to stop calling but he still keeps calling. Luckily I have his name (hopefully real one) and I'll be reporting his ass
Thats my story

Er... you know that paper he had you sign, to officially declare your non-interest? Weren't you suspicious when it said to report at 0800 hours next Monday morning? ;)

Just tell them you work for Verzion and your phone is free and your DSL is at a reduced rate. Ask them if they can beat free and just hang up...
