Arma 2 with 7800 series

I don't own a 7800 card, but judging from other similar cards, don't plan on being able to play it at 1680x1050 on anything higher than low-medium settings.

What do you expect...it's an ancient card and a relatively niche game. Do you expect 30 replies. 🙄

ArmA is quite a demanding game, mainly because of the massive environments and potential for incredible numbers of units on screen at once.

Expect to play at Low settings to get passable FPS.

Arma really needs high end hardware to run well. Its the sort of game that benefits from being more 60 fps than 30 fps, and the higher graphics settings are important to be able to see things far away. Even two 7970's doesn't get me everything I want in this game, a single 7800 has no chance.

if it's the new HD7800 series from AMD then I think it should be plenty fast for this game. If it's the ancient 7800s, probably won't be enough.
