arma 2 combined operations for $12.50

So i've been debating back and forth now for a few days about getting arma2 combined ops, since my cousins and friends got it, it's on sale on steam for 30, but turns out its 12.50 digital download from amazon, no reason to not get it now

our patches are universall to all distributions (technically including STEAM)

there is no such DRM in ARMA 2 1.08 to worry about

Been wondering if I should buy this game for a long time... I just picked up BFBC 2 yesterday...

If I get it downloaded through AMAZON for $12.50 would it show up as one of my games on STEAM?

you just create a non steam game shortcut in steam

i jumped on this deal on amazon.
i read on the steam forums that pretty much everyone has moved onto operation arrowhead (OA) and that you should at least run the game as a "combined operations" package in order to access the base content in the new and improved OA engine.

so...can this be done with the amazon package? how do i combine these 2 separate downloads into 1 "combined operations" package? the purchase shows up as 2 separate games, not 1 combined package.

i'm starting off by downloading OA first but i'm guessing once i have both of these on my HD, i can somehow combine them to combined operations?

i just installed arma2
then arma 2 operation arrowhead, it installed in the main arma2 directory

i'm still downloading OA...shit's takin forever with my 3mb connection

im on 25/15 fios and it still took me about 5 hours to get both
