Figured I'd try to do a Capt. Kirk sort of thing there.

Yeah, so yesterday my wrist and forearm started to get sore. Moreso my wrist. Out of the blue, in the middle of the afternoon, it just started to hurt.

Last night I went to bed, and woke up at least twice with my arm in pain, bad enough to wait me up. Again, a very aching soreness, but also a rather burning sensation.

Today, mostly the same. My wrist doesn't hurt much, occasionally a sharp twinge. What's really irritating is the constant burning sensation up my arm. Even more weird, it's a cold burn. It internal, so it's not my arm that's inflamed or anything like that. It just feels like a cold, almost frostbite sort of burn, from the middle of my forearm to the outside of my shoulder.

My right arm too, so I don't think I'm having a heart attack...

Weird... annoying, painful somewhat depending on how I'm holding my wrist... but the burn is constant. Someone make it stop (okay, no chop off the arm comments... that one is too easy).

sounds very serious. If you have a clot or deep rupture you're going to be in a world of hurt soon.

go to the ER.

If you put your right hand over your heart, does the pain stop?

Sounds like a pinched nerve. Could be in your upper back, shoulder, elbow, wrist... Take some anti-inflamatory meds (advil, aspirin, aleve, that sort of thing) and contact your doctor if it doesn't get better soon. It could be something worse.

Oddly, I decided to try this, just cause it sounded interesting. The burning in the shoulder area subsided a bit, the pain in the wrist became slightly more noticable.

The way nerves are set up is that theyll overload over time, the first displacement is along the same length of nerve (from your wrist to your shoulder for instance) the second displacement (usually pretty serious pain) is mirrored onto the other side (to your other arm for instance.)

I would go to the hospital immediately.

SYRINGERED!?

No. Better today. Took one of my left-over darvacet from something else a couple months back last night and woke up without the burning feeling and a little less sore.
