trying to find some real good information about the schools out there mostly. I think I'm looking at moving into the Amphitheater School District. If anyone has kids there, I'd like your opinions on the area.
 
are you buying a house? The market is absolutely crazy right now (was just there 2 weeks ago, phoenix/mesa area)

Amphi is a pretty good district from what i have seen...currently have a cousin there (2nd grade) and shes doing alright and staying at a pretty good level with other kids.
i was in TUSD and got a great education...they have a variety of school that focus in on specialties like arts and computers
Theres also marana, its okay, theres some issues with faculty there currently and they have a reputation for just pumping kids through their program cause their all a bunch of rich pricks..

i would suggest catalina foothills district if you have the money to live in the area... although i chose to leave after 5th grade because a lot of the kids are very stuck up - not all, but most. i switched to the amphitheater district and liked it but again i would suggest the farther north schools like cross middle school and cdo... and again they are snobby. hope that makes sense, i just woke up.

edit: sorry i just realized that it said northern tucson. it just depends whether its northeast or northwest... catalina foothills is northeast, amphi is northwest.
