Argyle sweaters making a comeback?

Were they always a classic design that has outlived the times? I remember them being quite popular in the 80's among the older folks. Seems to be popular again with the younger crowds now. I actually have a few myself.

I don't like sweaters. They mess up your hair when you pull them off. Then when you're sitting in class and you get too hot because the heat is on, your hair sticks straight up from the static.
