just as a reminder for those that don't know, 2.5 inch drives = laptop drives that cost more than 3.5 inch drives.

Here is another reminder:

Remember that there is the convenience of a bus powered external device. This thing will be easier to carry around without having extra wires all over the place. This enclosure will not require an extra external power source.

2.5 laptop hard drives cost more in terms of GB/$.

However, laptop hard drives are excellent values in terms of size and portability. We all probably have a few extra laptop hard drives lying around (from all these damn anandtech deals!) - so this is a pretty good deal. Thanks solo!
