I checked everywhere... hotwire gives 180ish, but does not give a specific travel time

$190 is from southwest...

want to travel aug 3, return aug 6

anyone got other suggestions??

Go to Jetblue.com

They have really nice planes and a tv for each seat.

Not much cheaper then your prices, but better planes. Doesn't go to LAX either, just Long Beach. If you'd bought the tickets earlier, you woulda saved like 50%. Good luck finding a better ticket though.

Fly out of SFO and stay a weekend. Go the 1st - 6th and watch the prices drop.

Southwest is $150, and I'd say that's the best you're gonna do.

hmm jetblue goes to longbeach... wayyy to far to where I want to go

arghh driving is not an option... dont want to waste 5 hours drive

American has a "web saver" fare of $2767.00 for a return flight from Oakland to LAX that connects through Dallas.
