Some people are just ass-h0les like that. I usually park away from everybody but I still have a couple of door dings. Now what would posess anybody to swing their door so hard? Now, keep in mind with today's cars you gotta hit it really hard to leave a door ding.

yeah I hate people that dont pay attention when they open their cars..

I am guessing that this is a truck/suv that did it.. since the ding is pretty high

I actually lived there before I moved to socal

parallel parking is actually ok, bumpers can take more punishment

You're going to pay to get a door ding fixed? Why bother? It'll only happen again.

Isn't that the truth. I was sitting in the McDonald's parking lot eating my lunch a couple of weeks ago when suddenly my car shakes a bit. I look back and some stupid old lady swung the back door of her car open and hit my car HARD (she wasn't even sitting in the back seat, she was getting something out). I sat there and stared at her for about a minute before she acknowledged that she hit my car, but she said "I only touched it." Yeah right, I felt the car shake. I checked it out and no dent. I can't imagine how hard the people who DID leave dents must have hit my car. I blame children, they always swing their doors open too hard.

I'd LOVE to know where the Autopia freaks park their cars. I park mine so damn far away, it ain't even funny, but I still have company. Other folks do the same thing. Autopia guys must hire kids to watch their cars or something.

I rarely wash mine, let alone apply 20 coats of polish. It's just that I realize how expensive it is to fix this crap. Wish to hell my wife would get in the habit of avoiding door dingers. I'm surprised her car has held up as well as it has.

My little brother dinged my passenger side door when he opened the door right into my bike.

I was also driving home one day and this little kid on his bike (with training wheels) was swerving in the road and not looking and he ran right into my rear fender. I now have a small dent there. Then the kid's father had the balls to yell at me for speeding (he wasn't even watching the kids, he was turned the other way looking at his ugly, blue durango). I made sure the kid was ok and then I yelled right back at him and told him I wasn't speeding (honestly, I was doing 5MPH, since there were a ton of kids on the road at that time and the limit is 25 anyways). He also threatened to tell my parents, I laughed that off and told him to go for it. Especially since I don't live in that neighborhood and my parents would believe and defend me before they would listen to that arsehole.

for gods sake, your stupiditiy is astounding

no. people with nicer cars will not hurt their car by dinging yours. i do the same.

look up your local PDR (paintless dent removal). it doesnt cost a whole lot, and it ends up looking perfect apparantly. next summer, im going to have it done... i have 7 dings on one door :(

I think he means he parks there so he doesn't get dinged, not so he can ding.

Are you being serious? He parks between nice cars because they'll be more careful not to hit his car. I'd rather park between two BMWs than a Yugo and a Chevette.

oops, sorry I took it the wrong way

I thought he is jealous of nice cars...

edit: oh and btw, it is not necessarily safer to park between nice cars. often times the owners are old people that dont care bout their cars either (since they can always buy a new one)
