Arghhh...

I have spilled water in my keyboard...like a lot of it. I immediately unplugged it and poured all of the water out. I'm letting it sit upside down hoping to air it out. How long do you guys think I need to wait before attempting to use it again?

yeah...I'm hoping that it won't cause any lasting problems since it is water...man I was pissed. I know it is only a keyboard...but it is a Logitech Elite...and I really like it. I am not looking forward to ordering a replacement from NewEgg...just because it was such a stupid mistake.

A day is prolly a good idea. Or if there is a hair dryer in the house use that on it for about 15min.

Hair dryer is a good idea...but I don't think I have one unless my girlfriend has left one in my bathroom unknowingly. When I get home from work today...I'll try that out if I find one.

Laptop keyboards are the ones that can't take liquid. It doesn't take much to fry one.

I would have been very pissed if it has been my work laptop....or lets say the IT guys at work would have been pissed.

I split a whole cup of milk on my keyboard before, and it still lasted for years.

I gave it to my friend after a while and it still works fine 🙂
