I thought they set the limit to 100 per day ? WTF are you doing ?!

My biggest gripe with Hotmail is the fact that when you click on a URL within an email, it has the damn frame up top stating I've left Hotmail... etc. The problem is that the page doesn't accept cookies, so I can't login to anything on linked pages through Hotmail emails.

It's so bull$#!t... unfortunately, I've had my Hotmail address for years, and even some important contacts go through there. :|

I just use my domain/host mail as secondary and my ISP as primary. However, I'm moving to my domain as primary pretty soon...tired of ISP changes... from home.com to attbi.com to comcast.net...

i feel the same way, framed urls are annoying....but it's a free service and i've had a hotmail account for about 7 years. there have been other email services that have been free and better, but they didnt last long after the "internet bubble". many become pay services and other simply dissapered, how many remeber Visto? They had great service.

hotmail blowz. Try softhome.net. Mucho better.

Another vote for softhome.net

You can use a regular email program(Outlook Express, etc.) to both send and receive email.

I use outlook express, etc.. with my msn mail.

what's the problem ?

I hate Hotmail's tiny 2MB limit and it's very prone to SPAM.

When for under $14/yr you can have your own whatever@yourdomain.com including webhosting with webmail, forums, live chat, PHP, etc.

I rarely use Hotmail (except for MSN Messenger) I prefer Hivemail but it ain't free.

I didn't know hotmail had a limit. I've used them for years but the junk mail and other issues (like recently if you send an email 1/5 times for no reason at all it will pretend you had failed to specify an email address and you gotta put one in) are making me get closer to cancelling it. I use my hotmail as my primary address for everyhing and it will be a hassel to change, but I wish I'd never started with a hotmail account. It's fvcking crap.

If you have Hotmail, you need to use Firetrust's Mailwasher Pro. You can easily see what's spam or what's been blacklisted and what the "real" mail is. You can wipe them all at the touch of 1 button too. A real time-saver if you must use Hotmail. It also has the capability to check any POP3 email accounts in the same shot.
