i feel the same way, framed urls are annoying....but it's a free service and i've had a hotmail account for about 7 years. there have been other email services that have been free and better, but they didnt last long after the "internet bubble". many become pay services and other simply dissapered, how many remeber Visto? They had great service.Originally posted by: rh71
I thought they set the limit to 100 per day ? WTF are you doing ?!
My biggest gripe with Hotmail is the fact that when you click on a URL within an email, it has the damn frame up top stating I've left Hotmail... etc. The problem is that the page doesn't accept cookies, so I can't login to anything on linked pages through Hotmail emails.
It's so bull$#!t... unfortunately, I've had my Hotmail address for years, and even some important contacts go through there. :|

Another vote for softhome.net
You can use a regular email program(Outlook Express, etc.) to both send and receive email.
