Going to head off and try to find an Adobe forum right after this post. Maybe DesignDawg will help me out. For any Illustrator users out there, what am I doing wrong?
Say I have a rectangle, and I want to transform the rectangle to say... a trapezoid. What the heck do I do? I tried using the Free Transform tool, but when I use it, it won't allow me to move only that point. It scales the entire damn box. I looked through the transform and pathfinder windows, no help. I'm doing it the long way right now, creating multiple shapes and just differencing (intersect, exclude, delete front, delete back etc.)... taking forever. Anyone want to tell give me a quick lesson on how to create polygons? Is there a draw line tool in Illustrator? I could use the pen, but if I wanted to draw a straight line it will only let me draw a straight line horizontally and vertically.
