You type something up perhaps like a 2 hour warrenty document full of parts and somehow or another close it and not save it. I had 3 different excels open and I closed oen thinking it was one that wasnt needed/important and it was the one I been working on since lunch.

How the hell did you manage to do that since MS Office Applications ask you if you want to save before closing?

ALWAYS SAVE!

I always save regularly when I am working on something... u never know when your computer or the server hangs/crashes... I mean, Ctrl + S isn't that hard to press...

Honestly I am a 2 monther to this job so Im kinda new to keyboard controls, ctrl+s, didnt know that

i use alt-f-s cuz ctrl key is harder to reach

Ctrl + S is pretty much common to all windows application... Hell even my keyboard has 'save' printed on the 'S' key...

 

Writing manuals with your superb english skillz must be a treat.
