its gonna be mailhost.xxx.ameritech.net for both the incoming and outgoing...
xxx being the city abbreviations of where you are or the closest large city...
for example, if you are in chicago, you would be mailhost.chi.ameritech.net -- if you were in kalamazoo, you would be mailhost.kal.ameritech.net --- and so on... hope this helps...

BTW, RossMan, I caught your dixisys link just in time. I signed up at 11:45, but I may have put wrong info on the registration form. When they asked for the domain password, I thought they were asking me to create a password for the site. Were they asking for my domain registrant password (GoDaddy?)

take your pick, mailhost.chi.ameritech.net, mailhost.det.ameritech.net, mailhost.col.ameritech.net
if none of those three work, then you are doing something incorrectly....
what is the error message you are getting?

I believe the Dixiesys July 2 for 1 sale ended a few hours ago because it was no longer listed on their website when I checked recently
They are asking you to choose a password for your website hosting, it has nothing to do with your domain (GoDaddy) password ... entirely different.
After setting up your account, you should receive an "all set" e-mail with your settings, reply to Sales and tell them you applied for hosting on July 31st at 10:50 PM and would like to verify that you will receive the free 2 for 1 upgrade ... you'll probably get it.

Thats not incorrect server addresses then, it just means you are entering in the wrong userid and/or password.... make sure you have both in all lowercase and that in the userid field it just has your userid... meaning make sure it just has maxdsp, not maxdsp@ameritech.net
