I've been trying a Exacto Knife.

Kinda like a steel tooth pick.

Not working though, neither is the tweezers.

Anybody you know have a Sonicare with floss head attachment? Or perhaps a waterpik?

I get that when I eat popcorn, always get that little...layer, stuck between the tooth and the gum, and i can never tell if I've gotten it out or I've just gone insane.

Good luck man. :)

Whenever this happens to me, I try...

Toothpick (very fine tipped)
Move the tongue in the general opposite direction, where food is lodged against wall, and inhale/suck air into mouth nearest to tooth
Eating gum and hope it'll stick to it
Drink some water and hope the water will carry it out
Floss

Well I just sharpened the end of a zip tie and it has a nice pointy hook on the end of it now.

I WILL GET THIS OUT OF MY TEETH!!!!!!!!

Or an alternative...

Go to your dentist and have him/her remove the two tooth where the particle is lodged, then while you're at it have the two tooth cleaned. Then re-insert them back in your gum where it used to sit :)

Listen, you're probably picking at the wrong tooth. Often times it feels like there is something stuck between this certain tooth and this tooth but in reality its like right next or one tooth over. Try seeing if you pick at the tooth left or right of the tooth you feel it at -- see if that helps.

No, I have the right target.

Thanks for the suggestion anyway though. ;)

Maybe I'll end up going "the Rock and rollerskate" route yet!

Rollerskate, eh? I dunno what pirated version of Castaway you saw, but in theaters, Hanks knocks the tooth out with a iceskate blade. a rollerskate would be even WORSE! ;) :p

LoL geez man, exacto knives and sharpened zip ties? Don't cut yourself! If you seriously still can't get it out you should probably think about going to the dentist.

Oops, I guess all this picking at my teeth must be effecting my brain (or what's left of it) I meant ice skate, ICE skate.

Geez... exacto knife? That's scary as hell. Isn't there some super durable floss you can get?

they DO sell those dentist picks at the supermarket... you can't get any closer than that.

So does Home Depot.

Just use a blasting cap.
