Argh!

Just lost about 6000 blocks in the last day because PG&E decided to do their rolling blackouts where I live. KLinux wasn't happy... :frown:

That's really too bad. We got warning of a possible blackout here in Modesto and since I was going to be gone, I shut down all my systems just in case. The blackout never happened though but they say maybe tonight. I hope not. I have 3 systems cracking RC5 as I type this. Dang PG&E!

Yep, same thing almost happened here in Manteca. The high school district's office lost power, but my house didn't so I kept on cracking. Hopefully, these rolling blackouts stop soon.

This brings up a twist of irony; turn up the dams to get more power(but lose the trout), or save the trout at the cost of the cows.:Q Dennil, be glad you're in Canada.😉

Athlex, bud, I know your pain. I lost 13,000 blocks once because of a power problem. Hint; never plug a vacuum cleaner in to an already overloaded crack rack circuit.

LOL
I can just see it. Russ pluging in his cleaner. (Just whistling along to the theme to voyager) And then silence hits the air as the rack powers down. The facial expresions on Russ's face was probly priceless!!!

ROTFL, Russ! I've gotten kinda paranoid about that. I'm planning on building a new "main" computer to replace my Hurricane box, but I'm not sure I want to put a new Enermax P/S in there. It would probably dim the lights by itself! 🙂

Guess now I ought to take my machines to work and spread the load! 😀

Russ, yeah I have actually had that happen here at my place. We had all the computers in the house in the front room one night and all on one outlet with a bunch of Surge protectors and plugged in a vaccume and as soon as we hit the switch everything went black! Dang Kirby's! 😀
