Have you ever had one of those days..earlier this week my water cooling sprung a leak. The motherboard was covered with it. I tested my ram, my CPU, and video card in another computer and all was good. I cleaned off the motherboard, with IPA and got all the goo off. No matter what I did, it wouldn't power on, so I thought the motherboard was shot. Got a replacement motherboard..and..same thing..the motherboard was getting power, but wouldn't turn on. So I try it with the power supply from my other computer(a not so great thermaltake PSU), and it boots up. Then I try the old motherboard and it boots up. So now I think it's my power supply. SO I take my power supply out of the case, to take a look at it. I see nothing wrong. I figure what the heck I'll try it one more time..AND IT BOOTS UP!! WTF?!!?!?!? so I just bought a new motherboard for nothing! Don't know why it wouldn't boot with the PSU in the case, but did with it outside the case. The motherboard was outside of the case on a cardboard box, so it wasn't shorting. Ok I feel better now, anybody need an Abit AS8? I have an extra one now.

I think a prediliction <sp> towards bad luck is the main thing keeping me from ever trying water cooling.

And now the freakin OCZ memory that was failing memtest and causing crashes on my X2 system is working perfectly fine in the P4 system, 3 passes with no errors, while on the X2 system, 200+ errors after a single pass, but only on one specific stick. But my 4x512mb sticks I took out of my P4 system work fine in the X2, just at 2T.
