Bought a CD of the Chili Peppers but it wasnt the one i wanted... didnt realize until after i opened it..... Anyone know Walmart's Return Policy on CD's?

They have a Greatest Hits CD which also contains bonus features DVD..... Music Videos and what not... I bought it like 1 AM this morning so i guess i wasnt paying enough attention...

opened media can be returned for identicle items only is probably what you will find
 
walmart will not take back a cd for refund, exchange only on the same CD....ymmv if you can swing something else.

 
ok say i take it back for relatively the exact same thing only for more $$$....... i want to get the RHCP CD/DVD with all the videos and stuff..... think that will work?

either in a dvd case or cd case...... i mean its not like i burned the cd and am asking for money back... basically im buying the same thing only with more on it so im spending MORE money there.
 
yell them you bought it for a gift but someone also got it so you have 2 they will take it back and give you credit

hell we have returned stuff bought at K mart to walmart before cause Kmarts return policy sucks

Most don't realize that. Also with movies I believe WalMart is selling almost 25% of all retail movies....I think they are in the top 10 of music resellers also....I don't have the article in front of me.

My first and last cd I bought from them was censored....I am not sure what artist it was but I turned it into the local used CD shop in trade for a older uncensored CD.
 
Just called..... they wont take it back... its ok though, found someone to buy it here for a little less than what i paid for..... just life's lesson i guess

I think Walmart will take back anything, especially considering an incident I watched once. A lady bought a carpet (8x10), Had cut out part of a corner to make it fit on her porch or something, cut the corner out before unrolling the carpet, and blamed walmart for rolling the carpet up in the opposite direction. (she cut out front left instead of front right, or something)

According to my friend it is...... its got 2 new songs and a whole bunch of music videos/documentary...... also a "making of" some of the videos (Thats the CD/DVD portion obviously)

The CD just has some of their hits (including Soul to Squeeze which was only on the Coneheads soundtrack) and the 2 new songs.

i'm pretty sure walmart dosent censor movies.. in fact a friend of mine that works at the local walmart said that they couldnt do it for some reason or something... so DVD's and movies are usually ok to buy at walmart
