Argh, this sucks...30 page paper due tomorrow

It's for my Capstone Project class - we have to submit a business plan for a company, either real or fictional. The actual info is easy and I have templates that show me exactly how to do it, but it's just a pain in the arse to write 30 freaking pages.

Why am I sharing this with you? Because you're helping to keep me distracted (but sane) enough to continue!

If there are any drinkers out there tonight, have one for me!

no, I started - I'm just chugging along and getting really sick of it. We officially had 2 weeks from the time it was announced to due date, so even then it's a rather brief timeframe to complete it.

Do what I do. Write it on the way to class and make sure to use larger 12pt fonts with wide spacing. (if Werd doesn't support those features, write it in Quark or Illustrator which both have superior font control)

Wow, whine whine whine. Our 30 page Capstone paper was easy, maybe because we just dominated Capstone from start to finish, maybe because we split the work up. Everyone in the group does 6 pages, add an intro + ending, and you have over 30 pages.

I hate writing papers too
I'd much rather take an exam.
Study for a few days and take the exam is much better than sitting and trying to write a 8-10 page paper not to mention a 30 page paper.

I always use Times New Roman with size 10 or 12, if the instructor ask for 12 I use 12 otherwise I prefer to use 10. I never do that courier or arial crap though. Make it legit, don't cheat your way to more pages, readers can tell.

Nope, individual - it used to be a group project. They decided to revamp it this semester....just our luck!

I'd much rather take an exam.

Yeah, courier new, or arial with 12.5 point font. Make the margins 1.05 or 1.1 inch, use wide spacing and mess with the other kerning settings. Also, 2.1 or 2.2 spacing instead of double is huge, especially if you have a 30 page paper.

i had one teacher that would check to see if it was in the correct font and size. IF it was not he would mark you down!
