Same $/GB, used versus new...

Unless you *really* need the extra 50GB of space, I'd get the new drive. I'd be wary of buying any used HD, except *maybe* a factory reconditioned drive with full warranty.

I think the new one only has 1 year warranty, while the used one has 3..

Makes the decision even harder!

I definitely wouldn't buy *any* drive with a 1-year warranty, new or used, unless the price was insanely good ($.40/GB is good, but not that good).
