ARGH! pissed me off!

My girlfriend was flying back from Tahoe today, and her flight was supposed to arrive to LAX at 9:30pm. If you don't know, we are having a HUGE storm right now, making people not know how to drive anymore, and delaying the airport like crazy.

So I arrange to have her roommate pick her up. She lives at UCLA, which is about 7 miles from the airport. I live about 35 miles away from UCLA, so I'm about 28 miles from the airport.

My girlfriend's flight gets delayed, so eventually she comes into LAX around 11:00pm. She gets a voicemail from her roommate saying "I can't pick u up because I have to do a group project..." or some BS like that.

So I go pick her up -- note that I only have had 4 hours of sleep, and I've already driven to school and back today (because I had class and work). So it's 11:30pm and i'm driving to LAX in the friggin' rain to pick her up.

I'm not mad at my girlfriend - i'm mad at her roommate because she said she would pick her up but she flaked. However, this really pisses me off because I spend every waking hour at their apartment fixing their sh!t -- cupboards, roach spraying, electrician work, furniture fixing, etc...

I do all this sh!t for her roommates, and they don't even have the decency to pick her up from the airport. AGH! (her two other roommates were sleeping! they didn't want to pick her up!)

So F*ck that!! from now on, i'm not going to do ANY favors for her roommates anymore! I picked them up from campus, gave them rides to school, helped them clean their apt, dropped them off when they needed a ride, etc.

AGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

maybe my roommate and her roommate should live with each other. notorious flakers......

my g/f already knows that her roommates flaked on her. my g/f's MOM called 2 of the roommates and they said no - 1 had a midterm today, and the other one has to wake up at 5am to go to work. while i'm not too mad at them, it still sucks because if it were my g/f in their shoes, she would pick them up. it's sad because my g/f is WAY too nice and kind of a pushover when it comes to confrontations. that's why i have to regulate for her!

no none of them would do it to make me miserable because they really like me a lot.

Anytime they ask for something, just bow out gracefully. Just don't let them come between you and your g/f.
