Argh...looks like Seti is going out with a thud...

Have done all my uploads ... have enough WUs stored. And an download now and then too - see the Seti@home technical news though ... 🙂

It'll take a few days (?) weeks (?) untill all is validated and the credits start flowing in 🙁 , because all the validators are shut down due to the database merge. 🙂
 
I stopped downloading new units to my Q quite a while ago - I knew I had more than enough to last through the 15th. Now the only trouble I am having is uploading results.
Only a few more days, then that will be a thing of the past.
 
Yea I can't upload results either atm ,SETIQ isn't showing them as 'problem' ones either so their not going through atm
 
All my workunits just went through.

Not getting any new work, though. I've got enough left in my queue for one more day...

[EDIT] - Hmmmmm. It's no longer triggering a duplicate for every workunit it sends, now. Interesting...

I noticed the same thing starting yesterday. Anyway ... 2 days to go! :beer:
 
Good lord! I just checked my Seti page . I was a little over 10,500 last night, and now I'm at 10,758 ?!?!?!? I'm guessing a lot of the backlog from the past week or two is getting cleared 😕 ?

Not that I'm complaining, of course...😉

There was a problem with SETIQ and Berkeley. If you still have results in your Q, you can try OhioDudes Removinator

I used it and it clears up the Q nicely. 😀

Most of the results are ones that were actually sent, but for some reason the Q thought they didn't go through.

RD thought that Berkley wasn't sending back a message to the client saying 'result recieved' so SETIQ would try to send it again at which point Berkley sends a 'dupe' message back ,& hence the pile up😉

My Q's completely cleared itself now & is sending them out as they come🙂

Don't know about d/l WUs as I'm dropping the Q depth as time passes & I have enough WUs to keep me going to just beyond the 15th atm.

I was just snooping around over on the Classic message boards and seems that something got hosed at Berkeley and many folks were getting multiple credits for single workunits. One person saw his account grow by 400 in 1/2 hour! :Q

If you notice in HB's stats post today, everybody's numbers are WAY up.

I did notice one thing. My SetiQueue at home now no longer shows Problem Results. I had a lot there...maybe 400 or more. Wonder if those were uploaded and counted?
