Argh, just busted our blender

I elbowed the blender right off the edge of the counter and broke it into a thousand pieces onto the kitchen tile (it was glass.) What's the best way to get up all the tiny shards/bits? Just run the vacuum over it?

Me too... I was going to ask if he tried to blend rocks or something.. LOL.

I would think cleaning it up would be common sense. 🙂

I'd try and get up as much as I could with a broom and then just get down and look for the extra pieces. When all the big pieces are gone, just run over a little bit with the vacuum.

First broom, then vacuum.

pick up shards carefully and toss them. broom/vacuum. mop. use tape to get rid of little pieces.

Use wet paper towels to pick up the small shards of glass.

Next time get a blender with a acrylic/Plexiglas/polycarbonate/Lexan jar.

Get all the pieces that you possibly can with your hands, then run the vacuum over it. You might now get all the pieces at first though, so wearing showe/slippers around the kitchen for a while is a good idea.
