ARGH! It's been raining all day, and I now have a puddle of water in my back seat.

No, I don't have a convertible and no I didn't leave my windows open. I have no idea where the water is coming from. The ceiling isn't wet. The seats aren't wet. I haven't driven all day. And yet, there is an inch deep puddle of water on the floorboard in front of the back seats. Man, if it rains all night, the puddle is going to be even deeper. Crap. :|

Window seals

Winshield seals.

If it was raining hard enuf with enuf wind, it could be the door seals.

Possible. But the front seat isn't wet. I also felt the carpet along the sides of the doors, no moisture there other than the water diffusing through the carpet. However, once it's daylight, I'll give those door seals a good look. But they should be fine. Thanks for the suggestion though.

Sucks ass dude. When I was at my parents' place one summer in Florida, I drove around with my windows open all the time. I figured out quickly that the air in the car was MUCH less turbulent when the back windows were down as well. Only problem is, I never think to roll my back windows up, since they are BEHIND ME, and I'm not in the habit of rolling them down in the first place. --And it was rain season. 3 or 4 hard rains in the space of about a week + rolled down back windows = DAMN that sucks.

I feel for you. What I am really ticked off about was that I just got a new woofer for my car. I redid all the wiring for the amps and stuff, and now it rains. I went out a while back to wrap the woofer and amp in plastic bags. The carpet in the trunk was starting to get wet too. I just can't ever get nice things for myself without something ruining it for me. :(

If you need some ideas on tests to find bad seals PM me and i'll give you some of what I know from talking to body guys. GOod luck on finding it, maybe its coming in at the rear window, running down under the back seats and onto the floor board?

Does the car have a sunroof? If it does the drains for it could be clogged and backing up into the car. Also if the "tray" area right in front of the windsheild in the engine compartment has its drains clogged it could be leaking throught the same place you wiring goes through and running down behind your dashboard.
