ARGH!!! i just got rear ended!! ARGH!!! WHY CANT YOU PEOPLE DRIVE!!!

ok...this is getting out of hand...this is my 4 accident this year. yes FOURTH! all of them not my fault! the first was a rear end collision and the guy took off, 2nd was a near total loss on my car when the guy came into my lane without seeing me, 3rd was some idiot who reversed into my car from a parking spot, and this time at a red light someone rear ended me. WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU PEOPLE....ALL OF THEM WERE IN DAYLIGHT AND I DRIVE A RED CAR!

luckily there was no serious damage...actually there really is none.

There may be some truth to this theory. I got 4 speeding tickets in 4 days when I was eighteen. Haven't had another in 11 years.

I always get into "near accidents". Its amazing how people reverse the roles of the Stop and Yield signs. They stop at Yield signs and vice versa. Everyone always trys you beat you, especially during a merge - like I have a choice, its either stay in lane or plow into that cement divider. The best is when you pull to the side to let the on-coming traffic through, and the fool behind you cuts both cars off. Because of these idiots, we have to pay high insurance. God forbid you get home from work at 6:02 instead of 6:00.

Sometimes I get people that cruise up quickly, then hover in my blind spot for a minute or two. I wonder if they're looking to get hit or what.

My wife backed slowly into a car behind her in a parking lot. It pulled behind her while waiting for somebody else to vacate a spot. She was in a conversion van and the mini-mobile didn't show up in either mirror. Her spare tire crunched the passenger window. She knows it was her fault, but still can't believe the driver couldn't blow the horn. I told her driving slowly is no substitute for looking!

I had several near-misses recently when I stopped for turned-red lights that I had plenty of time to stop for - but the people behind me ASSUMED I'd go through it (and they would too). Swerving up alongside me, yelling at me......

So I started going through turning-red lights that I could have stopped for, because I didn't want to be rear-ended. EVERY TIME the car behind me goes through too! :Q

I agree with kevin000, these jerks aren't saving much time and they're making the road dangerous for everyone. I want to just yell at people "Leave for work five freakin' minutes earlier!" Today some jerk behind me was antsy because I was only driving the speed limit in a SCHOOL ZONE, and zipped around me at almost 3 times the speed limit!

Believe it or not, I think the red car is part of the problem. I know that red is supposed to be more visible, but I own a red car and for some reason, I am always dodging people who are trying to hit me. But then again, maybe that's just because almost every driver out there should (IMNSHO) have their license revoked?

I think it is due to colorblindness. Bellsouth was supposed to come to my house to repair the line and they never showed. I called and asked what the deal was. She said a repairman came by and no one was at home. I asked if he happened to see the fvcking bright red mustang sitting in the middle of the driveway? She said he didn't.

Red is invisible to all but cops and the insurance company.

I have a red car also and almost got in an accident last week.

It was 12:00am and I was heading home. The arrow was green for me to turn. I was about to turn, when all of a sudden I had this feeling that the car on the opposite side wasn?t going stop. The driver just sped straight pass the red light. What a dumbass driver!!!

i had a tractor trailor take the door off my red eclipse on halloween in a posted 35MPH speed limit when i was parked under a street light at 10pm on a clear night. standing right next to the drivers seat cause i was leaning in to grab a bag. i was dressed in white, he missed me by like 5 inches no joke, my cousin saw it, he ran to his house...right across the street to chase the tractor trailor. the dude stopped 1 mile down the road and proceeded to BACK down the lane he was driving in. luckily nobody was going that way. the cops came and wouldn't write him a ticket cause there were no skid marks, so after arguing w/ the truck company they offered me 1k after i sent them 2 estimates for 3,200. but i guess 1k is better than nothing. but still. there are some people that don't pay the least bit of attention and it kinda scares me. his name was something hassan-ali and he worked for dick. or so he told me cause i asked for his boss that i should call about insurance...that will never get old. lol. damn arab

Ya know, that's what Yield signs are for. You are SUPPOSED to STOP at them when their is traffic, and then you go. If there is no traffic, you simply slow down and look.

This is why we have wrecks, you don't even know the most basic of sign functions. People assume you are supposed to just keep moving and slow dowd at Yields, or ignore them altogether
