ARGH!! I have the AC set to 71 so why is it over 78 in my room!?

Poor control system, or more heat being produced or leaking into the room than your AC is capable of removing.

What's the outside temp? Most AC's can only cool to 20 degrees of the ambient temperature.

I keep my AC set at about 78*F. Its getting cooler outide though, so I'm not actually sure how cool it is outside, 70*F something.

Look inside the AC... perhaps there is a mouse blocking the cold air flow?
