argh... i have half a cold

this is strange, one side of my face has the cold or something, the other side doesn't. My right side of the nose is all stuffed and my right eye is sensitive and watery. The left side of my face is fine. what is up with that?

Do you have any weakness in one side? Can you taste with both sides of your tongue? Talk to a doctor ASAP -- I had similar symptoms once, but waited three days before going to the doctor. She sent me to the emergency room saying there was a chance it could be a stroke. Turned out it was Bell's palsy. But because I waited so long, I never got back full use of the left side of my face and I have no sense of balance. Hopefully you just have some odd nasal blockage, but seriously, don't take risks with this kind of thing.

Sinus infection is the most likely cause, but considering the potential down-side of it being somthing more serious like a stroke as mentioned, I'd suggest consulting a real-life doctor rather then Dr ATOT if it doesn't clear up by this afternoon.

I highly doubt its anything critical because both my parents had a cold/flu and I spent alot of time around them recently.

It's also weird I later developed half a headache. I was walking home from work and the right side of my head was aching so bad I shut my right eye. I feel a bit better now though. The runny nose part did spread to the left side finally though.

its as if the virus infiltraded the right side of my sinuses and my white blood cells were bunkered up on the left side putting up a good fight.
