Ive got this spot above my lip literally no more than a millimetre above my top lip, i picked it and ripped the whole scab off :|

It hurts like hell, feels like ive ripped a part of my lip off :|

Im having such a shite day :|
 
Put some rubbing alcohol on it, really, though, so the exposed fresh skin doesn't get infected, then put some triple antibiotic oinment and a bandaid on it.

What the hell is it? When you say spot, that's the vaguest of vague. Is it a mole, a freckle, a sun spot, a pimple, a cyst, precancerous mark, cold sore, a herpes outbreak, etc, etc, etc.

all morning... no interesting threads, and my life hasn't been interesting enough to create an interesting thread. If someone would have told me I'd get up at 6am on a Sunday and post in threads about picking moles (or even reading a thread about an ingrown butt hair... ) I'd have told them they were crazy.

based on the definition of a cold sore.. it is caused by herpes simplex 🙂
