OK Heres my situation. I have about $240. Im trying to decide from these 3 choices:
I have a 17" CTX monitor from about 3 years ago that i could probably sell for 30-40. Im looking to upgrade to a 19" trinitron for under $300 (ill wait for a deal)
I also have a gf2 ultra which can get me about 160-170 at least and then I can buy a gf3 leaving me $120 or so.
Finally, I have some old decent stereo speakers. theyre 40 watts afaik and then my back speakers are 2 old creative cheapo speakers and I broke one of them so i only really have 3 speakers. I could get klipsch 4.1s for under 240 easily on fs/ft. Or im thinking ba4800s for under 130. or maybe even klipsch 2.1s for under 140.
Mostly I use my computer for gaming and listening to mp3s so I'm having a really hard time deciding. (I can only get one of these 3 or 5 if you consider 3 speaker choices)
Ive asked my friends and theyre saying speakers or gf3 but I sure would like a 19" trinitron. They probably arent the biggest geeks in the world so I'm coming here to help me decide.
Now that i think about it, i can probably get a gf3 and then some klipsch 2.1s or ba4800s.
