argh, double charged at Target

If Subway's credit card system is like the one I have at work, the register and machine aren't connected at all.

You can have a totally different price on the cash register, than the one on the Credit Card Machine. He could have gotten a receipt from the register itself than the Credit Card Machine.

That happened to me at Staples when I bought my wife a pda last christmas.I had paid with my debit card and they said they could not just give the cash back and it would take 2-5 days for it to show back up in my account.I ended up with a $50 store certificate and a free leather case out of it.
