ARGH!!!! DIAL-UP!!!

Anyway, I frickin' hate my dial-up connection. It's free though. The software for call-waiting doesn't work and the ISP software has to be up. Anyone know how I can dial-up through NetZero without their damned software? I have their Hi-Speed service. Also, anyone know of some free call-waiting software? The software with my modem interferes with the NetZero.

Ha, My dad has netzero. It suck teh balls. I am glad I have comcast cable. Too bad I only get an average of 380k on downloads tho 😀, Jk man. Seriously tho, netzero is as bad as aol.

As bad as it sounds, sign up for AOL. Its free for 90 days, and if you need it after that, just call and say that you want to cancel and they will extend your free service for another 2-3 months.

Yes, I am serious. Actually, it's not really a 🙁 thing overall (it's only sad in the OP's case, since he wouldn't be able to come here)...

There used to be numerous trolls that used AOL, and when AnandTech contacted AOL to file a complaint, nothing was done (on AOL's part). The only solution was to ban all AOL IPs, which got rid of the trolls (a 🙂 thing). Since any self-respecting geek wouldn't be using AOL anyway, it was a pretty good idea (except in rare cases where it can suck being stuck on AOL for some reason or another and needing to access the forums).

I know - consider how stupid some of the people here are. Then consider that there are millions of AOL users less intelligent still! Its a hard concept to get your head around 😉
