ARGH! Dawn of War 2 - Last Stand .. possible to play with 3 other players over LAN?

ugh! hopefully, I'm a total noob and there is an option for it. But I got the game so I can do some mindless hack-n-slash w/ my brothers over the break.

I just installed it and it seems like the expansion of 'Last Stand' can only be played via LAN!?!? nooooooooooo!

pls. tell me that's not the case!!

Pretty sure its online MP also. Never played it though, and that would be why.

I have only ever played The Last Stand online via GFWL.

I thought it was only playable if you connected to GFWL and not playable over LAN. (not tested this theory of mine)
