Argh cheats don't wortk in LOTR - Return of the King

grrrrrrr this game is getting to me..no way to save gamese in long stretches and when I try the cheats dont work.

Here is exactly what I do:

press escape to pause
press left alt + left ctrl + left shift altogether and while holding them down press the combo of keys needed (like 7 5 7 8) using the num keypad (tried this with numlock on as well as off)

but damnit it just does'nt work

would really, really appreciate some help if someone could let me know how you guys got it to work. damn or this could be a waste of $50 (canadian).

Agreed - Learning to cheat now even on games will impact you for the rest of your life - do not start looking for the easy way out.

I would'nt cheat but I need to get past this one stinky level that I die at the very end, and the bloody game does'nt let you save!
(and trust me its horrendous wasting half an hour every time to get to that point and then dying!)

Why do you need to get past that certain level by any other method than using your skills. Cheating is not going to help you in the end.
At the next level, you may need the skills that allowed you to assend to that level from the previous.

Gaming can be thought of a a substitute for the real world. Cheating will only get you so far and then you will be exposed and fall faster and further than you went up. There is great satisfaction in making it on your own. Try it.

BTW, guys, it's his game, he paid for it, so it's his choice to cheat or not. As long as we're talking about single player mode.

i just finished that game and i can understand his need of cheating. the fustration level of this game is quite high as there are very limited save points. You can go and kill a hundred Orcs but if you die before a save point, all that is waste as you will have to start all over again.

it's a good game. kinda gives you a clue on what's going to happen in the movie but never gives away too much to spoil it. and the graphics are top notch when playing on my 9500p with AA/AF on.
