Okay, for the last 3-4 months, I've been running my Cel600 at 900 Mhz on a BM6 motherboard. I ended up giving the BM6 to my brother over the holidays, so I replaced it with a BX133. However, for some reason, I can't get my chip up to 900 MHz anymore. It was running rock solid on the BM6.

I've tried all the settings, even upping the juice to 1.75, even though I never needed more than 1.6 on the BM6. I've already spent a day trying to get it to work. The >only< component that's different from my BM6 setup is the Highpoint RAID card. I was previously using a Maxtor ATA/100 card on the BM6, but am now using the onboard HPT chip.

Basically, what happens right now is that the WinME splash screen will pop up for a couple seconds, then the machine will either power off or reset and start over.

Two things I can think of:

1) Try running the HD from the PCI controller and not the HighPoint,

2) When you took off the CPU from the BM6 and put it into the BX133 did you re-apply thermal grease? Is the HSF correctly seated onto the CPU?

That's all, just long shots really.
