Well the temp dropped a tad (down to 70 now), but its the freaking humidity thats killing right now.... 90%

We have insane humidity here today too...almost 90% right now. It is a little cooler, but honestly when it's >75% humidity outside, I'm going to feel hot pretty much no matter what the actual temperature is.

My coworker lives in an apartment complex and gets a substantial amount of heat leakage from the neighboring units. It's not uncommon for him to have his A/C on when it's 45F outside. He doesn't need to turn his heat on until the outside temperature is in the 20s. When he moves out, he needs to send a 'thank you' note to his neighbors for saving him untold amount on his heating bills.

Economizers fix this problem.

but then florida is a warm place - what kind of electric bills do you have running AC all year round?

Summertime ~ $90/mo
