The law I'm quoting IS in regards to that. People were saying that they can just get rid of us whenever they want for whatever reason they want. I'm not debating that there's anything wrong with the rent increase. They are within their right to increase the rent unless the increase is meant to drive us out of the building.

Seems odd that they can't tell you it's no longer available for rent.

I wonder how it works for homeowners that rent out their floor. It'd suck to have a tenant that'd never leave.
