I've been trying to get my config working for the last 2 days...
AMD Tbird 1ghz
MSI K7t Pro2-a
Crucial 256mb ram cl3 pc133
gf2 gts 32mb
sb live value
enlight 300w/ amd approved ps
ibm 46.1 hd
delta 50x cd-rom
phillips 4x burner
SMC NIC
-----------------
Everything sort of works until I install the sb live value, before I install the live I get Msgsrv[not responding] and have to ctrl+alt+del to do anything... When I install the sb live value it first pops into windows and detects it ( I made sure to give it a irq that isn't sharing like a NIC) and it finds it but cant find 2gmgmt.sf2 so I stick in the cd, still can't find it, and it also can't find some other drivers like the PCI input controller which I think has to do with the Emulation etc. I try running the setup from windows , from the cd and it has to reboot and gets the same can't find the file error, and the same thing happens when I try to use the web drivers. I might just have to settle for onboard audio because this card is driving me INSANE!

did u disable the onboard audio? If not, do it. But since you are a golden memeber I will assume you did. I would just double check that. Also a hammer does wonders :D

2gmgmt.sf2

That's the General MIDI back for MIDI playback.

It definitely is included in the web drivers, and sure as hell should be on the CD.

Is it a Windows type prompt trying to find the file...

Try pointing it to...

If you've loaded the web drivers at least once...it'll be in C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM.
If you've loaded the full liveware at least once...it'll be in C:\PROGRAM FILES\Creative\SBLive\Program

Or even skip it...it's not important, and can always be dropped in, pointed to later.

PCI input controller which I think has to do with the Emulation...
If the drivers are on your system that's either the creative joystick port, or creative multimedia interface...
