ARGGGG!!! Why does Craftsman do this?

Okay, I know why... I'm just kicking myself. Bought a tool set a while back and obviously they didn't include a whole set on the 12-pt 3/8" metric socket set. Thanks for leaving out the 11mm and 16mm.

You can buy individual sockets. Craftsman often isn't worth the premium, either. I generally buy Husky (home depot brand), and while the warranty isn't as good, I've never had anything actually break whereas I've broken quite a bit of craftsman stuff.

Either way, go to HD and get some individual sockets to fill in the set. And what the hell are you using 12pt sockets for? 🙂

I prefer Craftsman because of the warranty.

Its not so much that I need it right now. I want to have a complete set in the event that I do need it.

That's what they want!

Duh! Well, they pretty much got their way with me...I have at least a couple hundred sockets in my tool boxes...and probably a hundred wrenches, etc...(/me used to wrench as part of my job)

the crafsman warante is the only reason i get them.

but then i do not buy new. i go to auctions, garage sales and get them. if they break while i have it then fine i go get a new one. though i still pay a good amount for a used tool.
