Okay, so the greatest show ever created, JEOPARDY~!, is on the ABC local station and comes on at 7pm, M-F--a time in which I set aside everything so that I can watch it with utmost attention and appreciation.
But since Monday Night Football came on, it completely overruns it, moving Jeopardy to 7pm Tues-Sat. That was fine, as I still get 5 days a week of Jeopardy. And now the past two weeks included some of the best Jeopardy ever to be broadcast on TV, with a two week long High school tournament...and today was the final day of the tournament to see who'd win $50,000. And, there's this really nice looking girl that fits my nerdy sophisticated type desire.
So I turned on my TV at 7 today to catch the final episode (6:55 actually), only to see college football on! Ack, I thought, as this would mean delayed Jeopardy, or worst yet, no Jeopardy at all. I then checked the TV Guide and saw that the game in theory would end at 8, and that Jeopardy would be moved up an hour, so that it'd come right after football. Thinking that since I'd have Jeopardy coming up soon, all was right in the world again..
HOWEVER, I turned on the TV at 8, and the game is only in the 3rd quarter!! NOOO I thought, as this would mean that Jeopardy would be gone altogether, since they're not going to move everything up 40 minutes or whatever, but rather just overrun it altogether and continue with scheduled programming. I was hopeful though, and tuned in at about 8:40, and the game was just ending..Then they cut out of the game, and as I feared, there was a message that said, DUE TO THE LENGTH OF COLLEGE FOOTBALL, WE WILL CONTINUE WITH SCHEDULE PROGRAM ALREADY IN PROGRESS.
