Argg... morpheus says I *must* download the latest version.

Geepers! Morpheus is saying I must download the latest version in order to get onto the network.
Is this mandatory since it seems perfectly logical to me that one should be able to access the network with any version of Morpheus.

If I upgrade, what happends to all my incomplete downloads that I've paused for the time being?
