anyone else have problems with UPS drivers not ringing the door bell when trying to deliver packages?

there's no car in the driveway, since my car is at my parents' house, but I stayed home all day today because I was expecting an important package... went outside around 6 pm to check regular mail, and sure enough, there's a note on the door that they "tried" to deliver the package :| kind of defeats the purpose of paying for overnight shipping.
 
Here they walk up, ring the bell and immediately turn to leave. If you don't get there before they get in the truck, you are SOL.

ordered a dell 2005FPw and the guy left the notice . . .




and the monitor . . . . . .




maybe he didn't want to lug it back to the truck

(usually, i put a sign up near the door that says, "UPS MAN, PLEASE RING DOORBELL" . . . even then, they dont)
