shouldn't estimating a bill be illegal or something?
our bill for the month of November was $120, which is pretty outrageous for a small, 2 bedroom apartment on a third floor (which steals a lot of the rising heat from the second floor). so we made some adjustments to our lifestyle to help lower the bill.
computers are shut off whenever we're going to be away from them for more than a couple hours, replaced all the lightbulbs with lower wattage bulbs and resolved to shut lights off after leaving the room, and lowered the thermostat by 10 degrees.
and yet, despite an entire month of walking around the apartment wearing two sweaters and several layers of socks... our bill is even higher than the previous month! :Q
