I'm trying to do a buy it now deal on a motherboard on eBay.

I login to ebay, select buy it now, then it takes me to a pay pal page to login since the user requires paypal.

I fill everything out, and then it gives me a page that says "buyer needs confirmed address"

But it gives me a credit card form to fill out.. wtf. So I fill everything out, with the card I want to use and my billing address, and it tells me, card is already on your account. So it is. But there is no option to select a different card, or just confirm address.

wtf. I've used this plenty of times before. I just want to give the seller my damn money and I cant even do that.

confirmed address = PP needs to send you a letter to verify your identity

= protect sellers

I list all my shit "will not ship to unconfirmed address"

quite standard, really.

Thanks for your insight.

OP, as was stated above you need to verify your address through paypal. This is a program put in place to protect sellers.

The jist of it is a seller wont' be protected under SPP unless he ships to a confirmed address. Unconfirmed address = scammers paradise. Thus to reduce the risk of getting scammed, a seller will require payment with an account that has a confirmed address.
