ARG!!! My BF1942/Desert Combat wont open!

they have been working fine for months, and i go to play and all of a sudden my icons look like this

and when i double click on them i get this

it wont let me uninstall it either, i get the same error message. WTF is going on?

can you re-install over the top, then uninstall?

there shouldn't be too many stray reg entries

how can i uninstall manually? i tried deleted the EA folder, but that didnt do anything so i just restored it.

this is driving me crazy! i just want to play desert combat....it wont let me uninstall, play, or re-install over the existing installation! what the fvck can i do?

Are you using Win XP? If so, try System Restore.

Delete your old folder then reinstall to a different directory or drive maybe?
