ARG! Freezing in MOH!

I recently suffered a hdd reformat, tho I made sure to back up my data

However, my save games for MOH:AA lock up after a few minutes. I am able to CTRL ALT DEL to get out, but I cannot continue from my save games. However, I can start a new game without any trouble. Is there anyway I can play my save games without the lock ups? I checked for read only status.

I have had these problem with games..I had a winxp problem saved the saved games and reinstalled and they failed too work...
I hate to say it but they maybe corrupted...
